Therapy time.

On of the things I dislike the most about having a special needs kids is the constant guilt that one has about not spending every minute of the day doing some sort of therapy. Nothing can just be just “for fun”. There is always more stuff to do, more stuff to try and things are so slow with Edda that sometimes, well, often I just throw my hands in the air. Since I’ve been working, I haven’t been in touch with her school, I don’t know what’s going on, I know I should call them more and figure out what they are working on, but I’m just lame.

I just want to whine a little! I’ll be all better tomorrow, I promise.

Jeremy is starting his real job tomorrow! Wish him luck!

(PS Donald, I love the little flash.)

  1. Not to mention about special kids, a normal one, sometimes, it is difficult enough. Mom and Dad know.

Don’t feel guilty. Just do the best you can. I believe that we all do. This is why a stable job in this circumstance is very important. Once, one acquires the skills and with familiarity. Everything is pretty routine. Then one can divert some of energy to take care the rest – check out on her, monitor her, etc. Our jobs as consultant at different locales, it would not work for your circumstance.

Edda is lovely and has her own destiny. The rest needs to go on as normal as possible. This way, she has the best change to be loved and smile all the way … 🙂

  2. It’s okay. You guys are doing a great job! plus she’s a super happy girl too. 🙂

good luck with the job jeremy and glad you enjoyed the flash!

  3. I agree with Noel and Donald. There are many mothers with full time jobs. I like your babysitter, she is a very warm person and loves kid.
