By sending you out there, I guess people back home probably need your personal feedback as soon as possible. First figure out if this is the case. If it is, just drop out the idea and come back to office right away. There are plenty of time to make another trip and it is in-expensive even coming out of your pocket.
take a week off and go somewhere. Do you have any officemate go with you? At least take both weekends to look around. If go by yourself, join local tour may be the best.
