Vince is coming home tonight! It’s been a quiet week here – the house seems so much emptier without Vince’s energy.
Jeremy and I spent last night and this morning reading and talking about Atul Gawande’s article in the New Yorker about end-of-life medical care. I have been melancholy lately and there is nothing like kicking it up a notch by talking about death and desired quality of life. Life is so full of grief, sometimes I don’t know how we get up in the morning to face another day. Jeremy told me that I had to read The Plague.
