Dinner together.

Since we've been back our dinners have been improving. The first week we had take out since the fridge was empty. The second week, we had what I call our "simple suppers", usually a rice, a veggie - steamed or stir fried and a meat, usually pan-fried, roasted, etc or pasta. All our "simple suppers" are done without a recipe and we have about 4 or 5 of them. Now we are back on our regular schedule. I subscribe to a bunch of cooking magazines and every week I try to plan out 4-5 new, quick dinners and I shop for the week and we try out a new dish. Tonight's dish was salmon with lemon/pine nut/raisin relish over a bed of lettuce. Yum.
