Went to Red Hook today and Vincie got a black eye. Got pizza for dinner and came back really late!

Today we bought a bunch of food to replenish our fridge. Then we went to the Tribute Garden to play, but there were a bunch of bees hovering over all the sandy areas, so I pulled the screaming Vince away from the playground. Then a 3 hour nap! Then explorations around Millbrook and finally a chance to play in the playground. We discovered good news!

We are back from Bisbee, AZ. Thank goodness.

The highlight of today was playing with Andrew and Elena at the Red Hook playground and at the Bard Student Center. Her life is full of drama!

We've moved into our Millbrook house! Hooray. It's really beautiful there, I'm liking it a lot.

What an end to the weekend. Vincie was a bit on the grumpy side today, so we were all tired from trying to amuse him. Katherine, Jeremy and Vince got haircuts from Jeremy, me and Jeremy in the morning. Then we picked up Ben and Nuha from the Poughkeepsie train station and went home for the Bob Martin Tenure cookout and party.

Joined the Millbrook pool for $65 for the summer. We played in the sand and swam and got sunburned. They even have sand toys for communal use. Hooray.

Happy date night. Went to see Whale Rider at the Upstate; beautiful movie. Vince has a little bit of a fever so we slept a lot today. Dropped off a load of stuff at the house and Jeremy worked all day to pack us up and get us ready for the move. I can't believe we are moving. Woo hoo. Katherine surprised Bob tonight at dinner and made beet greens.

The day before the Fourth of July. We played pool all afternoon with a girl name Melissa. Went to the Millbrook house and went out to dinner with Ava at Les Beax. Saw the incredible outdoor pool complete with sand and playscape.

Donald is being kicked out of his dining room. We decided he should try to live in Los Altos Hills with Le Pei Jean!

The Red Hook Pool is $300 for the summer. Ugh!

We had a wonderful week in California! It was cold and drizzling when we landed in LA. Maika and Brad's wedding was set in beautiful Palos Verdes and I wore my dress that Katherine and Bob bought me in Germany. I missed most of Bob's performance but got to see someone play the saw and a Krispy Kreme wedding cake. In Riverside we saw Emily and the Yan's and spent a few hot days playing around and having a grand time. Then on Friday we drove to San Diego and the weather was perfect. There we learned about the phrase; "You're slow, you're never going to make it to the party." We went to the beach. Just wonderful.
